The valley contains around 63 tombs and chambers from the small and simple pit, to some which considered as a complex tomb with over 120 chambers. The Valley of the Kings was the principal burial place of a lot of Ancient Pharaohs and High-Ranking Officials in the Egyptian New Kingdom. Also, there are several privileged nobles’ tombs in the valley. The royal tombs at the Valley of The Kings are decorated with scenes from Egyptian mythology and give clues as to the beliefs and funerary rituals of the period. Almost all tombs seem to have been opened and robbed in antiquity, but they still give an idea of the opulence and power of the pharaohs.

On the road you will take a look on Statues of Memnon then you will continue Valley of the Kings where you will visit three tombs there. Coming back from the Valley if the Kings you will visit Hatshepsut Temple. The Only Woman buried in the Valley of the Kings not the Valley of the Queens. She was very powerful Governer of Egypt.
