Tour To Nubian Village

The Nubian village is located at the west Bank of the Nile River at Aswan in a place called Sohail Island. You go there by Felucca (Traditional Sailing Boat) or by modern motorboat passing the Elephantine Island and the Nilometer on the way. There, you will be met by the local Nubian people and you will be escorted to one of the village houses where you will learn about the culture, history, and lifestyle of one of Africa's oldest civilizations while you drink your tea. Also, you will get some free time to explore the Nubian Village by yourself and buy traditional goods from local sellers and test your barging skills.

At the Nubian Village you will notice the colorful houses and the unique style of decoration where you will never find elsewhere in the world. Despite that the Nubian houses are very simple and do not have fancy furniture or modern equipment, they are very clean and enjoyable to watch.

Your tour Guide will meet you at your hotel or your Nile Cruise at Aswan then escort you with Private Air-conditioned Tourism Car to take the boat to the Nubian Village which considered as one the most beautiful places in Aswan. To go there, you will Take the Felucca or the motor boat to an island in the middle of the Nile called Sohail Island. There, you will explore the nubian culture, the Nubian food, communicate with the local people and see the how simple and beautiful are the Nubian houses.

Comming back from the Nubian Village, you will have the chance to get an optional City tour with Horse Carriage Car where you can explore Aswan City, the Bazzars and the local coffee shops.
